New this summer: Official re-opening of Notre Dame de la Vie, additional lift opening times, ‘plan d’eau’ lake area accessible to all, ‘la maison d’abeille’ beekeeping tour, a new ‘Assiette Michelin’ award for Le Montagnard and an exhibition at Chez Pépé Nicolas.
Notre Dame de la Vie
Come and (re)visit the Notre Dame de la Vie Sanctuary during the official opening on the 10th July. This 17th Century masterpiece, which is laden with history, will then be open all year round.
With additional lifts open over the summer (2016) you will be able to access the 3 Valleys four days a week. Come and enjoy the dizzy heights of Les Menuires on your bike or by foot.
Good news: the ‘plan de l’eau’ lake area can now be enjoyed by everyone! Wheelchairs and buggies can comfortably negotiate their way around this beautiful, leafy setting!
Come along to Klébert Silvestre’s beekeeping tour at the ‘plan de l’eau’ lake area – a great family day out (every Wednesday). His passion may even bring out the apiculturist hidden within you?
Le Montagnard Restaurant
Looking for great food after a good walk? Head to Le Montagnard restaurant in Saint Martin de Belleville where you can enjoy Savoyard dishes, endorsed by the Michelin Guide.
Exhibition at Chez Pépé Nicolas
Carole Chanard’s artwork, which illustrates a real affection for cows, will be exhibited from the 13th to 28th August in this alpine refuge. Something different to be enjoyed up at 1,900 metres in altitude.
