End of year festivities

The place to be on Christmas Eve

It’s Christmas Eve and the village of Saint Martin is dazzling. Young and old alike gather throughout the day to share magical moments, meeting Santa Claus or taking a horse-drawn-carriage ride through the winding streets of Saint Martin, and in the evening, enjoying the torchlight descent by the ski instructors and the firework display. The heart of the village is abuzz on this exceptional night!

A celebration of Savoyard folk traditions

Activities continue on Christmas Day, with cheeky elves strolling the village streets and with the Compagnie Albedo family show in the salle des fêtes (village hall). On Boxing Day, it’s time to celebrate in traditional Savoyard style, with Alpine horn demonstrations in the village and at Les Grangeraies and Savoyard dances and songs enlivening the village square next to the crafts market.

Start the new year in style

On New Year’s Eve, you can enjoy ice-sculpting demonstrations, a torchlight descent and live pop-rock music in the evening. On New Year’s Day, there’s an enchanting strollabout and show and the “Taille ta neige” competition, where you can try your hand at show-sculpting, while on Wednesday 2 January, you can enjoy a breathtaking fire show in the village centre. Begin the year 2019 full of wonder at Saint Martin!
