Chez Pépé Nicolas, Alpine farm
While on your mountain walks you will come across herds of goats, cattle and sheep high in the pastures. At Chez Pépé Nicolas you can taste the cheeses that are made from their milk.
You can also visit the alpine and wildflower garden, guided tours and traditional restaurant directly at the farm.
The farm "Chez Pépé Nicolas" is situated in between Les Menuires and Val Thorens and is at the start of the walk to Lac du Lou. You can come and see the cows and goats being milked as well as learning how cheese is made (tomme de Savoie) and tasting local specialities at the farmés restaurant.
The sheperds path : come and discover all the secrets and rareties in an around the farm "Chez Pépé Nicolas" (beehive, garden , insect farm...).
Duration : 45 mins to 1hr15; an easy path accessible from the big car park on the sharp bend on the main road to Val Thorens.
You can also visit the shop of Pépé Nicolas, open from 9.30AM to 7.30PM non stop. You can taste and buy product from the farm and also regional products : honey, sheep yoghurts, sunglasses made in wood and a lot of discovers.
From 22/06 to 15/09/2019, daily between 8 am and 8 pm.
From 2th July, to 31st August,, guided visit of the farm and tasting of product from Monday to Thursday at 10:30am
The farm is open every day from 5.00 am to 8.00 pm.
Free access. Guided tours are not free - Guided visits from Monday to Friday at 10:30AM followed by a product tasting.
Adult: € 9 / € 7 with Multi-activity card
Child from 8 to 15 years old : 7 € / 5 € with the Multi-activity card
